of relief!
I dropped Daniel off at preschool this morning. His first day. When I left, he said “Bye, Mom” and kept on playing.
And now I’ve got the house to myself. At least until noon.
Sweet, sweet relief.

Ah, something to look forward to. (She says, while playing Dora for the umpteenth time today.)
Oooh. Lovely. Whatcha gonna do with your three hours then?
The best part was hearing Daniel tell about his day and all his ‘friends’ at ‘school’.
He’s not always a little cutie-pie (sometimes it seems as if he had an extra measure of snips and snails or of puppy dog tails), but, when he IS in cutie-pie mode, every little thing he says is a sugary nugget of sweetness.
(sez the dad)
That must be a relief. Enjoy the quiet, relish the peace. Noon comes before you even know it.
I envy you.
Loved the dad comment. :) My youngest also came with extra puppy dog tails, but when he’s sweet, he’s charming! Enjoy your time!
Another milestone in your (and Daniel’s) life!
